Maccarone Plumbing History
Maccarone Plumbing and Heating Inc., is a third generation plumbing, fire sprinkler and HVAC contracting company spanning 72 years. Originally established in 1934 after the Great Depression by John Maccarone as a sole proprietorship it was transferred in 1970 to a sole proprietorship under Louis J. Maccarone, Sr. serving Glen Cove and North Shore's Gold Coast, with 3 employees and 2 vehicles. The business was incorporated in 1995, and currently employs 85 field personnel, an office and shop staff of 15 along with its 3 principals with a fleet of 45 vehicles. In 1990 the company added a fire sprinkler division to provide its customers the additional benefit of "one stop shopping" for their commercial needs.

We cover an area from Montauk Point to the five boroughs of New York City, offering 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency service for plumbing, fire sprinkler and HVAC systems.

Our Staff
Maccarone Plumbing employs 85 full-time mechanics, journeyman and apprentices of different levels. Our office and shop staff consists of estimators, project managers, auxiliary office and shop personnel and a purchasing division that meets the demanding needs of our large organization.

What we Do
While most mechanical contractors in the construction industry provide either plumbing systems fire sprinkler systems or HVAC systems, Maccarone Plumbing is one of the few organizations of its kind capable of performing all the functions related to mechanical installations, both for new construction and renewal projects. The company is also expert in industrial and process pipe installations.

The Maccarone service division also provides companies and institutions such as schools, churches, shopping malls and municipal buildings with annual contracts for quarterly fire sprinkler inspections which are required by many municipalities and Fire Marshall Offices. .
